Written statement of terms and conditions of employment

The law now requires every employer to provide all employees and workers with a written statement of employment particulars not later than the beginning of the employee’s employment or worker’s engagement. The updated rules on the provision of written statements apply to those starting their employment or engagement on or after 6 April 2020. The written statement must now include the following mandatory details:
  • The names of the employer and employee/worker.
  • The date when the employment began.
